Teasdale Foods client Named CMO of the Year Finalist

Cale Nelson is the Chief Marketing Officer of the $300M Teasdale Latin Foods, and has been named a Finalist for CMO of the Year by the DFW American Marketing Association. After just one year in the position, Cale currently manages 6 brands and 200+ SKUs, including Jardine’s®, Casa Fiesta® and Sontava!® hot sauce. With R&D, Innovation, Product Development & Quality falling under his Marketing Department, Cale spearheaded an impressive 40+ new products in 2016 alone, and achieved over $10M in annualized new business. Cale is J&S’ 5th-straight client to be named a Finalist, with two actually winning including the coveted award. The DFW AMA show is May 4, and it will surely be a night to fiesta.

The new Caliber Collision website has been recognized as a 2017 Webby Award Honoree. The Webbys are known as “The Oscars of the Internet,” and are considered one of the highest honors in the digital space. Judging criteria for a website includes Content, Structure & Navigation, Visual Design, Overall Experience, Functionality and Interactivity. The distinction ranks our Caliber website among the top 17% of all 13,000 entries from 70 countries.

Coming Clean with WM Barr

After a nationwide review, J&S has been selected to introduce several new consumer cleaning products for WM Barr in 2017. The Memphis-based company is the largest national manufacturer of solvents, removers, cleaning and prep products in the country. Their full line of products include Goof Off, Klean Strip, Damp Aid, Mold Armor and many others you find in hardware, grocery and mass channels. Responsibilities include strategic positioning, TV, radio, POP, event marketing, social media and PR among others.

Riding Along with Santa’s Helpers

Opening The Cupboard with Tiffany Derry

J&S has helped open “The Cupboard by Tiffany Derry” at  Uptown Urban Market – Dallas’ newest food hall, named “one of the most anticipated food halls in the country” by Eater.

This new grab-and-go concept from Bravo’s Top Chef will serve breakfast, sandwiches, soups and even sushi. J&S created the Name, Logo, Packaging, Website, Menu, Social Media and even the full Interior Design. This is the first of several concepts opening from Chef in the next 18 months.

Meat Fight Sets New $175,000 Record

The Aporkalypse descended on Dallas and for the third year J&S provided advertising, PR and social media for the highly anticipated Texas BBQ competition featuring 16 of Dallas’ celebrity chefs. The event was created by Dallas Observer food columnist Alice Laussade, and this year’s 6th Annual event raised a record $175,000 for the National MS Society. The $200 VIP tickets sold out in two minutes, the $100 General Admission in three hours and received coverage in Dallas Observer, CultureMap, D Magazine and Dallas Morning News.

A Visit from the National Down Syndrome Society President

The inspirational story of Blake Pyron and Blake’s Snow Shack made international news throughout the Spring and Fall. Our work with the family in creating awareness for Down Syndrome, and promoting employment opportunities for those with Down Syndrome, caught the attention of Sara Weir, president of the National Down Syndrome Society in Washington DC. She visited the J&S office during Down Syndrome Awareness Month to discuss our work being elevated to the national level in conjunction with #DSWorks, a national initiative encouraging American businesses to hire people with Down Syndrome.
